Don began his career in 1978, working for over a decade to acquire the necessary skills to become a master stonemason. In 1988, he established Don Nyren Masonry.
Don worked tirelessly to build the business by creating and building projects featuring stone walls and veneers, fireplaces, steps, and walkways for both residential and commercial clients.
One project Don is particularly proud of is a number of massive stone walls which support the roadways in a large residential development in Hopkinton. This project was completed over a three-year span and provided tremendously valuable experience.
After many years of self-employment, Don decided to advance his career by moving to R.P. Marzilli, an industry-leading, award winning, high-end New England landscape construction company where, for 15 years, Don further honed his skills as a stonemason by paying close attention to detail while constructing, supervising and managing some of the highest quality, highest budgeted landscapes in the region.
In 2011, Don decided to rekindle his namesake company, now drawing on over 35 years of valuable experience. Don looks forward to helping you create your own ideal landscape, patio or fireplace at your home.
